SUMMARY

On May 27, 2021, the Planning Commission considered and denied  a request for a Commission Use Permit to allow the establishment of a crematorium, and a Design Review request for a new buiding that would house the crematorium (Attachment A - Planning Commission Staff Report 5-27-2021).

Following public testimony and discussion, the Planning Commission, approved Motion 2021-05-27-0502 (by a vote of 7 to 0), directing staff to bring back a resolution with its articulated findings for denial of the project. The proposed resolution carries out the Planning Comission’s direction.
