DISCUSSION
The examination for the position of Fire Captain (Promotional) was conducted in accordance with the Rules and Regulations for Police and Fire Employees. This recruitment opened on March 19, 2017, and closed on April 3, 2017. Human Resources received a total of 41 applications. A written examination was conducted on April 26, 2017, and assessment centers were conducted on June 5 - 8, 2017. You will receive the results of the examination, along with exhibits that list applicants receiving passing scores in rank order, and confidential applicant flow data worksheets for approval and adoption at your meeting of July 20, 2017.
AUTHORITY
Rule VI, section 10(a) of the Civil Service Rules and Regulations for Police and Fire Employees provides that the Civil Service Commission shall certify the results of each examination conducted by other than continuous examination.
