DISCUSSION
 
The multiple choice written examination for the promotional position of Fire Captain was held on March 17, 2015, with 54 candidates participating.  39 candidates will be invited to participate in the assessment center tentatively scheduled for the week of May 18, 2015.
 
During the protest period, the Human Resources Department received a protest from one candidate:

AUTHORITY
 
Rule VI, section 5 (f) of the Civil Service Rules and Regulations for Police and Fire Employees, states that the Civil Service Commission shall schedule a public hearing to hear and vote upon the protests.
