DISCUSSION
The Economic Development Department is comprised of the Economic Development and Real Property Management Division, Housing and Homelessness Division, Events/Venues and Parking Division, and the Business Operations and Successor Agency Division. An organizational chart for the Economic Development Department is attached as Attachment A.
The attached Annual Equal Employment Report provides employment information for the Economic Development Department regarding workforce composition, personnel changes, professional and diversity training, and recruitment efforts for the past year (Attachment B). This information includes, but is not limited to, current staffing levels, departmental ethnicity and gender demographics, and organizational recruitment outreach efforts.
AUTHORITY
Concurrent Civil Service/Equal Employment Commission Resolution No. CS 2021-12-16-0901 adopted on December 16, 2021, updates the format that Annual Equal Employment reports must be completed effective January 1, 2022. In compliance with this resolution, all City departments shall submit their annual reports, as assigned, utilizing the adopted format.
