RECOMMENDATION
Approve the reinstatement of the Miscellaneous Employee Eligibility List for Public Works Field Specialist (Open/Promotional).

DISCUSSION
The Public Works Field Specialist (Open/Promotional) eligibility list was established on July 17, 2025, with thirty-three (33) names on the list. There are thirty (30) eligible names remaining on the list.
The request to extend the eligibility was cancelled due to the rescheduling of the Civil Service Commission meeting to July 23, 2026. As a result, the eligibility list expired July 17, 2026. Staff is requesting that the eligible list for Public Work Field Specialist be reinstated, to be effective from July 23, 2026, to July 23, 2027.
AUTHORITY
Within ninety (90) days of the expiration of an eligible list, such list may be reinstated for good cause, at the discretion of the Civil Service Commission, if the list is less than three (3) years old, in accordance with Rule VI, § 12(h).
