Summary

DISCUSSION
Background
At the start of 2024, the Legislation Committee began to review the Council Policy Manual, prioritizing sections that were not reflective of current practice and sections that had not been updated in a significant period. Council Policy 3.04 Member Removal from Boards, Committees, and Commissions (Attachment A) language was last updated October 9, 2012.
Present Situation
It is recommended that the Committee review the policy for removal of members from Boards, Committees, and Commissions and provide direction to staff if change is desired.
