SUMMARY

On January 14, 2021, the Planning Commission considered and approved a Commission Use Permit (CUP) to allow the establishment of a proposed retail storefront cannabis business, an Administrative Use Permit (AUP) to allow a retail non-storefront (delivery only) cannabis business, and a Waiver to reduce the location requirement to separate commercial cannabis business from at least 600 feet to approximately 320 feet of a religious facility (Attachment A - Planning Commission Staff Report).

Following public testimony and discussion, the Planning Commission unanimously approved the CUP, AUP, and Waiver via Motion 2021-01-14-0501, and directed staff to bring back a resolution with its verbally articulated findings for approval.  The proposed resolution carries out the Planning Commission’s direction.
