RECOMMENDATION
Accept by motion the election of the Vice Chair of the Civil Service Commission in accordance with Commission Policy 12-001.

AUTHORITY
Civil Service Commission Policy 12-001 sets forth the process by which the Commission shall elect a Chair and Vice-Chair (Attachment A). The item was not included in the July submission as additional time was needed to complete the review and ensure the information was finalized for presentation to the Civil Service Commission. The item is being brought forward at this time consistent with the established process. The appointment shall take effect following the election, and the term shall continue until a successor has been elected.
