RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Measure W Oversight Committee elect by motion a Committee Chair and Vice Chair from among its membership in accordance with Council Policy 3.08.010(8).

Summary
In accordance with Council Policy 3.08.010(8) - Chair, the Oversight Committee shall annually elect a Chair and a Vice-Chair who shall act as Chair only when the chair is absent. The Committee is now asked to make those elections for the next 12 months.
DISCUSSION
Because the Officer elections take place later in the meeting, the elected officers will not assume office until the following meeting. At the next meeting, the Chairperson will take the seat at the center of the dais.
