Summary
Stockton Unified School District Career & Technical Education Partnership
The City of Stockton Community Services Department has entered into a partnership agreement with the Stockton Unified School District (SUSD) through its Career & Technical Education (CTE) Program to provide high school students with career exploration and workforce development opportunities in recreation and library services. The CTE program provides practical experience, builds professional skills, and introduces students to career pathways while supporting youth development and future workforce readiness. During the spring term, the Department anticipates hosting five high school interns in the areas of Community Center Operations, Municipal Library Services, Marketing, Sports and Field Management, and Aquatics. This collaboration reflects the City's commitment to youth development and building a pipeline of future recreation and library professionals.
