Staff recommends that the Cultural Heritage Board approve by motion a meeting schedule for the 2024 Calendar Year.

Summary
This agenda item serves to identify and confirm the regular Cultural Heritage Board (CHB) meeting dates for the 2024 Calendar Year.
DISCUSSION
Background
Historically, CHB meetings were scheduled, as needed, on the first Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. In the event that no agenda items were available, meetings were cancelled.
Present Situation
Pending CHB direction, future meetings will occur monthly on the first Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. (excluding July due to the Independence Day holiday). As is customary, in the case where no agenda items are available, the CHB meeting will be cancelled.
Stockton Municipal Code (SMC) Section 16.220.040.B [Cultural Heritage Board - Meetings] states that “The time, place, and frequency of its meetings shall be fixed by the Board.”
After reviewing the 2024 calendar year, staff recommends that the CHB adopt the following meeting schedule:
