Approve by motion, the Concurrent 2026 Civil Service/Equal Employment Commission Meeting Calendar and the 2026 Equal Employment Commission Report Submission Calendar.

DISCUSSION
The CSC/EEC is responsible for the establishment of rules and regulations; investigations; advisory functions; appeals; reports to Council; and to monitor the implementation of equal employment for the City of Stockton. The Civil Service Commission/Equal Employment Commission (CSC/EEC) is required to meet regularly at 3:00 pm on the third Thursday of every month, in an office or room provided for the Civil Service Commission in the City Hall. The updated Concurrent 2026 Civil Service/Equal Employment Commission Meeting Calendar is included as Attachment A for the Commission’s review and approval.
All departments of the City of Stockton are required to submit an Annual Equal Employment Report, which provides the status of each department’s equal employment progress. Concurrent Civil Service/Equal Employment Commission Resolution No. CS 2017-12-21-1302, authorized the use of a template and standardized the format of the Annual Equal Employment Reports for departmental reporting purposes. The memo titled 2026 EEC Reports Submission Calendar (Attachment B) lists each department and submission dates.
AUTHORITY
Rule III, Section 1 of the Civil Service Rules and Regulations for Miscellaneous Employees and Police and Fire Employees provides that regular meetings of the Commission shall be held on the third Thursday of each and every month, at the hour of 3:00 p.m., in an office or room provided for the Civil Service Commission in the City Hall, Stockton, California.
