RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Measure W Oversight Committee elect by motion a Committee Vice-Chair from among its membership in accordance with Council Policy 3.08.010(8).
Summary
In accordance with Council Policy 3.08.010(8) - Chair, the Oversight Committee shall annually elect a Chair and a Vice-Chair who shall act as Chair only when the chair is absent. The Committee is now asked to make those elections for the next 12 months. The City Clerk will walk the Committee through the voting process.

Background
On September 26, 2024, the Measure W Oversight Committee elected a Chair and tabled the selection of Vice-Chair to this meeting.
Present Situation
In accordance with Council Policy 3.08.010(8) - the Committee is now asked to make the vice chair election for the next 12 months. As a reminder, because the Officer elections take place later in the meeting, the new vice chair will not assume office until the following meeting.
Conclusion
The City Clerk will walk the Committee through the voting process.
