Staff to provide updates on Victory Park Public Art Sculpture, Public Art Mural Program, and Stockton Arts Grant.

Summary
Victory Park Public Art Sculpture
Public Work staff have removed the original footing from the totem pole. Contractors have received lighting and will provide an updated timeline in the next week. Contractors will begin trenching the electrical lines for lighting and pouring footings. City staff is working to coordinate a same day inspection and then the Artist and Contractor will mount the sculpture to the footing. We are anticipating completion within the next four to six weeks.
Public Art Mural Program
All applicants for the Public Art Mural Program have been notified of the Arts Commission’s recommendation. Staff are drafting mural agreements and coordinating with the selected artist to begin their work.
Stockton Arts Grant
All art grant agreements have been executed and grant recipients have been issued funds.
